On June 24, the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) marked
a historic milestone with its 75th Anniversary Gala in Washington,
D.C., celebrating decades of commitment to the Merit Shop
Philosophy and the advancement of free enterprise in the
construction industry.
The evening was elevated by a special fireside chat featuring
President George W. Bush, whose presence brought a sense of
reflection and inspiration to the celebration. Having addressed ABC
members at previous Legislative Conferences, President Bush’s
return was a meaningful tribute to ABC’s enduring legacy. His
insights on leadership, excellence, and the power of connection
resonated deeply with attendees, reinforcing the values that have
guided ABC for three-quarters of a century.
